MTCC begins RTL bus service in Vilimale'

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced Raja Transport Link (RTL) bus services in Vilimale'.

At a ceremony held at Vilimale' Ferry Terminal on Friday evening, the service was inaugurated by MTCC's CEO Adam Azim. The ceremony was attended by Vilimale' constituency MP Ahmed Usham.

MTCC will utilised environment friendly electronic vehicle buses for provide the RTL bus service in Vilimale'. The buses have 11 seats and 4 standing passenger options.

MTCC said that Vilimale' would have 10 bus stops with buses making rounds every 5-10 minutes.

Bus service will be provided free of charge for the first two weeks, MTCC said.
