Mohamed Fazeen has been appointed as Vice President of Maldives Broadcasting Commission (BroadCom).

Fazeen replaced Ahmed Qais, who tendered his resignation earlier in January.

Fazeen, an IT Diploma graduate from Villa College, began his journalism career in 2012 with Channel News Maldives (CNM) as a senior journalist. He later worked in Raajje TV as well.

Applications are now open for the vacant positions at BroadCom following Qais' resignation.

Presidents Office announced on 12 January that interested candidates can submit their applications together with their police records on 22-23 January between 0930 - 1230hrs.
