Foundation has been laid for the 50 row house construction project at GA. Vilingili.

At a ceremony held at GA. Vilingili on Tuesday, the foundation was laid by State Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Akram Kamaluddin and GA. Vilingili constituency MP Said Hussain as well as the Council members.

Dhonbeys Pvt Ltd was contracted to design and build the 50 row houses in GA. Vilingili on 2 June 2022 to be completed within 270 days. The project is valued at MVR 48.2 million.

The 50 row house project is being constructed as a PSP by the administration.

Planning Ministry stated that the row houses will be 700sqft with three rooms with ensuite bathrooms, living room, kitchen and dining room, balcony, laundry, and a store room.

Planning Ministry will also oversee the construction of a park, parking zone, and street lights around the housing units.
