Maldives Democratic Party (MDP) has released the list of voting centers for their upcoming Presidential Primary.

According to the information disclosed by the party, 87 ballot boxes would be placed in Male' CIty while 192 ballot boxes would be placed in the Atolls.

Ballot boxes in Male' City would be placed at Ameeniyya School, MNU, CHSE, Iskandhar School, Maafannu School, Izzudin School, Thaajuddin School, Hiriya School, Muhiyiddin School, and Rehendhi School.

MDP noted that there are 57,000 eligible voters for the primary. They further added that the primary voting will be on January 28th, from 9:00am till 5:00pm.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is facing off Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed in the primary, where the two had launched heavy criticism at each other during the campaign trial so far.
