Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has delivered the first shipment of rock boulders for the S. Hithadhoo Shore Protection Project to the site.

MTCC said the Geobag revetment installation works are currently ongoing at the project site.

Scope of work for the project include dredging operations of 975cbm swimming area, beach filling and profiling works of 6,891cbm, and construction of 100m breakwater and a 570m revetment.
