The President’s Office opened applications for the vacant post of a member at the Maldives Broadcasting Commission (MBC) on Thursday.

Applications will be accepted at the President’s Office on January 22-23, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Application forms are available on the official website of the President’s Office: presidency.gov.mv/.

The seat was left vacant after the commission's Vice PresidentAhmed Qais has resigned from the commission to join President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's campaign. Qais was appointed to the commission on 5th December 2019.

The commission is made up of seven members, with President Mariyam Waheeda. Amjad Waheed, Ali Yoosuf, Aminath Ameena, Mohamed Fazeen and Shifla Ibrahim are the current members of the commission.
