Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has delivered the second shipment of rock boulders required for Thaa Atoll Buruni Coastal Protection Project.

The scope of works for the project include, beach filling of 21,181.80 cbm of sand, construction of a 220m revetment and a 369m breakwater.

The Ministry of National Planning had contracted the project to MTCC on September 23rd, 2021. The value of the project is MVR 28.8 million.
