Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said the M. Kolhufushi Shore Protection Project is well underway with overall 77% project progress.

MTCC said the fourth shipment of rock boulders have been delivered to the project site.

Scope of works for the project include dredging operations of 9683cbm, construction of a 202m breakwater, and a 519m revetment.

The project is valued at MVR 22.9 million.
