Finance Ministry is seeking contractors to build housing units in Fuvahmulah City and Sh. Komandoo.

In separate announcements made on Sunday, Finance Ministry announced they are looking for contractors to build 400 housing units in Fuvahmulah City and 50 housing units in Sh. Komandoo under the design and build policy. Finance Ministry has invited interested parties to submit bids for the project.

Fuvahmulah City housing unit project requires a MVR 2.1 million bid security while Sh. Komandoo project requires MVR 260,000 as bid security. Bidding will open for the projects on February 8 and 14, respectively.

Contractors are also required to pay a MVR 500,000 fee to participate in the project bid.

Fuvahmulah City's housing project was announced by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih in March 2022 during his visit to Fuvahmulah City.
