President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed on Thursday inaugurated R. Alifushi School's Multipurpose Hall.

The multipurpose hall was inaugurated during the official function to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

R. Alifushi School's mutipurpose hall was built by Nasa Link Pvt Ltd under a PSP worth MVR 6,671,028.38.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the First Couple, Education Minister Dr. Aishath Ali, and MP for Alifushi constituency, Mohamed Rasheed Hussain (Bigey).

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Dr. Aishath Ali stated that the new multipurpose hall will provide a suitable environment for students to practice multiple sports. She noted that the hall can host national events in the future.

She added that the administration's goal is to ensure that R. Alifushi School is fully equipped to provide students with a holistic learning environment.
