Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said N. Velidhoo Boat Beaching Area Development Project is well underway.

MTCC said the construction of revetment and breakwater is currently ongoing with 88% and 25% completion respectively.

Scope of work for the project include reclamation operations of 1.5 hectares, levelling 138,247sqm of the reclaimed area, construction of a 214m revetment, and a 100m breakwater.

The project is valued at MVR 19.4 million.
