Nasheed visits Fuvahmulah as part of his presidential primary campaign

Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed visited Fuvahmulah City today, as part of his bid for the MDP Presidential Primary 2023.

A large crowd had gathered near the airport to give him a warm welcome to the city. His campaign team revealed that door-to-door activities will be carried out during this visit, where the former President would check in on the public.

Nasheed will be facing off President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih in the primary, which has been scheduled for January 28th.

While his campaign activities are now ongoing, he had stated last night that he has never lost an election and that he will be successful in his bid for Presidency in 2023.
