Criminal Court sentenced a man for 15 years in prison for sexual abuse of two children.

Ali Shafeeg, V. Huvafen, was charged with sexually abusing a minor whilst in a position of trust. Shafeeg denied the charges in during his trial.

Criminal Court Judge Adam Mohamed ruled that there was enough evidence to indict Shafeeg in the case. Criminal Court ruled that the charges were proven beyond reasonable doubt through the evidence submitted by the prosecution

As such, Shafeeg was sentenced for 15 years in prison.
