A fire broke out near Addu City Hulhudhoo harbour area on Friday night.

MNDF said that Hulhumeedhoo Fire Station attended a fire in the Hulhudhoo harbour area around 2003hrs on Friday night.

MNDF said the fire started in the forest area and spread to an asphalt container in the harbour area.

Videos of the fire have spread on social media showing a vast area on fire.
