The Nike Maestro Futsal Ball has been set as the official ball for the Sonee Sports Golden Futsal Challenge 2023 - the biggest inter-island futsal event in the Maldives

During a signing ceremony with Sonee Sports at the Sonee House, the official logo and ball for the futsal event were unveiled. The Nike Maestro Futsal Ball, which is sold by Sonee Sports was announced as the official ball for the event. The Nike Maestro is among the highest-quality futsal balls in the Maldives.

Title Sponsor for the futsal event, Sonee Sports is the longest-running and most trustable sports brand in the Maldives. While we have seen the brand behind the development of sports in the country, they have also been the closest partner of the Golden Futsal Challenge.

The Golden Futsal Challenge 2022 saw a participation of 91 teams from across the Maldives who competed in 177 matches. As such, Golden Futsal Challenge 2023 is expected to receive bigger support from the atolls next year.

The Golden Futsal Challenge has been deemed the most successful format for atoll and island representation in a tournament so far. Golden Futsal Association has also made some changes to the tournament format for next year.

Th. Thimarafushi won the champions of the Golden Futsal Challenge 2022 after beating K. Gaafaru. Thimarafushi also took the cup in 2019 and 2016 as well.
