Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed the repair works of the existing quay wall for B. Hithaadhoo Harbour Development Project.

MTCC said the installation of harbour pavement is currently ongoing with 88% completion.

Scope of works for the project include dredging and excavation operations of 19,030cbm, construction of a 22m groyne, a 495m breakwater, a 90m revetment, a 350m quay wall, installation of a 1750sqm harbour pavement, navigational aids, and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 17.70 million.
