Woman who stabbed her brother during a domestic dispute has tested positive for drugs.
Lamha Naseer, 25, H. Alavaluge, was taken into police custody on Wednesday for attacking her sibling with a sharp object.
Police presented Lamha to Criminal Court on Thursday where she received a remand order for 15 days. As per the remand order, Lamha tested positive for drugs although the order did not specify the type.
Lamha's remand order read that she was deemed a threat to society, and Police had submitted sufficient evidence to support their case.
The evidence submitted by police include the incident report and the statements from the officer's present at the scene.
Police sent a message to the media on Wednesday that a man had been stabbed around 1221hrs that day during a domestic dispute.
