The body of Nishama Mohamed, who was found dead in Haa Dhaal Atoll Nolhivaram under suspicious circumstances on December 10, has been flown to India for an autopsy.

While today marks the 12th day since her death, her body was transferred to Male' City to conduct an autopsy in order to learn the details about her suspicious death on December 11th.

A Police media officer had confirmed to One Online that the body of Nishama has been flown to India for an autopsy. However, no further details were provided.

Her husband, Aboobakuru Faisal is the sole suspect of Nishama's murder. He was arrested under a court order, though he had later tried to commit suicide by hanging.

He later succumbed to his injuries on December 19th, while being treated at the ICU in Kulhudhuffushi City.
