Additional human remains have been found at the Afcons accommodation site in Gulhifalhu following the fire on Thursday night.
Police Media Official told 'One' on Tuesday night that human remains were found in the site while clearing the area on Monday night.
Police said they are further investigating the find to reach a conclusion regarding the remains.
Human remains were also recovered from the site on Sunday, and police said one person has been missing from the accommodation block since the fire.
Afcons released a statement on Sunday stating that there were 457 residents in the accommodation block and that 78 people received medical attention for various injuries. Afcons said 32 people were admitted and 4 people went through surgeries.
Afcons added that accommodation has been provided for those affected by the fire incident, and that the staff have received financial aid and mobile phones as well. Afcons said there was no salaries or wages owed to the staff.
