A man has died following a fatal accident on Sinamale' bridge on Friday.

Police said the accident occurred around 1430hrs on Friday after a car collided with a motorbike near the traffic light on the bidge.

Police added that Tree Top Hospital informed the Police the man was already dead when he was brought in.

The deceased is a 54-year-old Maldivian man who was riding the motorbike.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
