Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and Aloha Club have signed an agreement to develop and operate a Community Hub in Hulhumale' that will carry out empowering programs and activities for kids, youth, the elderly, and persons with disability.

According to the corporation, the Hub will be developed on a 406.23 sqft plot of land on the beach, where several community events could be facilitated.

As such, swimming and other water activities alongside youth developmental life skill programs could also be organised at the hub alongside several activities for people with disabilities.

The corporation further added that they will be promoting environmental awareness through the hub and its activities, in order to create a generation that respects and are aware of the environmental issues we face today.
