Maldives National Party (MNP)'s President and Parliament Member for Dhangethi constituency, Mohamed Nazim has submitted his form to contest in MNP presidential primary.

Nazim submitted his application on Wednesday, and stated that MNP is the new hope for the public in the Maldives.

MNP presidential primary applications opened on 1 December 2022.

MNP decided to hold the party primaries on 14 January 2023 during the party's national council meeting on 3 November 2022.

Nazim had previously announced he would contest in the party primary. MNP has not yet announced another candidate running for the party primary.

MNP has also announced their manifesto for the 2023 Presidential Elections.
