The Elections Commission of the Maldives (EC) has announced for temporary workers ahead of the upcoming Presidential Election slated for November 2023.

An announcement by the Commission noted that they are seeking for 11 temporary workers for the election. These workers will receive a basic salary of MVR 4,465, a service allowance of MVR 1,500 as well as MVR 155 for each present day. In addition to this, overtime will also be compensated accordingly.

The Commission further stated that the temporary workers will be employed until the end of the election, and will be required to work during as well as outside of the official working hours of the Commission.
