Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced the bridge access road clearing works for Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll Madaveli-Hoadehdhoo Causeway Project.

The company revealed that the geotechnical survey works are currently ongoing.

The scope of work for this project includes 260m of shore protection, 2,544cbm segment concrete works, 285 spun pile installation, 4,596m asphalt laying works on causeway, 1,378m paving works, 3,144m subbase construction and asphalt laying works of approach road, road markings, paving works, and installation of streetlights.

The value of the project is MVR 84.17 million.
