President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih departed for GDh. Faresmaathodaa on Sunday to attend the 42nd Fishermen's Day Celebrations.

President Solih will join the official function to celebration Fishermens's Da6 at Faresmaathodaa on Sunday night.

President Solih is also scheduled to visit the Fisheries Expo stands and the fish-filleting contest organised by the Fisheries Ministry.

During his visit, President Solih will meet the Faresmathodaa fishermen's community and also discuss developmental plans and issues with the Faresmaathodaa Island Council and Women's Development Committee WDC).

President Solih is set to conclude his visit and return to Male' on Monday.
