Women in Management Maldives (WIMMV) has held the 4th edition of Professional & Career Women Awards at Kurumba Maldives Resort.
First Lady Fazna Ahmed attended the event, along with Chairperson of Women in Management Dr Sulochana Segera, and President of Women in Management Maldives Minha Faiz Rashad as well as several government ministers and officials.
WIM Maldives had included three new categories in this year's awards: Male Champion, International Women of the Year, and Expatriate Award.
23 individuals received the Leadership Excellence Award this year.

WIM Maldives had also awarded the Emerging Sports Personality Award to three women in the sports field.

The Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Award was received by Aminath Adam who owns Naares Private Limited. The Innovative Social Entrepreneur Award was received by Zulaiha Hasan, president of Bike Maldives. The Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Award (Small Enterprises) was received by Fathimath Shima Moosa who founded Fruity Mellow Cakes.
Youth Leader of the Year was received by young fisherman Hussain Sajin and Fathimath Firasha. Career Role Model of the Year was received by Mariyam Nuzla while the Corporate Leader of the Year was received by Aishath Nooruddeen. The Trailblazer Award was received by Defense Minister Mariyam Ahmed Didi and the Advocate for Women Empowerment Award was received by Aneesa Mohamed.
The Women in Diplomacy Award was received by Dr Farah Faizal, the Ambassador of Maldives to the UK, while the Bravery Award was received by Aishath Shafeeq. The inspirational Award was received by Dr. Aminath Jaleel and the International Women of the Year Award was received by Dr. Fathimath Faiz. The Women of the Year Award was received by Dr. Naila Ibrahim.
The Male Champion Award was received by MTCC CEO Adam Azim.
