Fuel Supply Maldives (FSM) starts selling fuel to fishermen at lower prices in Hulhumale'.
FSM Sales and Marketing Manager Ahmed Rifath told 'One' on Tuesday night that the lower fuel prices have been set by FSM at the Government's request. He added that fishermen have been complaining about hight fuel prices in the greater Male' region. As such, FSM has begun selling fuel at lower prices starting Monday.
"We came to the decision because even the Government had requested to lower the price for fishermen," Rifath said.
FSM is selling diesel at MVR 17.63 per litre now compared to MVR 19.3 per litre before.
Rifath said FSM has yet decided until when the lower prices will be in effect.
