Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the third shipment of rock boulders required for the Noonu Atoll Velidhoo Boat Beaching Area Project has been delivered to the project site.

They further added that the breakwater bed preparation works have been completed. Furthermore, breakwater profiling work is scheduled to begin next.

Scope of works include, reclamation operations of 1.5 hectares, levelling 138,247sqm of the reclaimed area, construction of a 214m revetment and 100m breakwater.

The value of the project is MVR 19.4 million.
