Virgin Atlantic is set to begin scheduled flights to the Maldives.

Virgin Atlantic is owned by renowned British entrepreneur Richard Branson.

Virgin Atlantic announced on Thursday that the airline will begin direct flights from Heathrow Airport, London, to Velana International Airlines starting 23 October 2023.

As such, Virgin Atlantic will schedule 3 Boeing 787-9 flights every week. Tickets will be available starting November 30, although the ticket prices have not been disclosed yet.
