Maldives Police Service (MPS) has seized 13kg of drugs and over MVR 600,000 in cash during a major drug bust in Male' and Hulhumale'.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Mohamed Hameed Tweetedon Friday that Police Counter NArcotics Intelligence and Drug Enforcement team had seized 13.56kg of drugs and MVR 644,020 during an operation on Thursday night.

The drugs and money were seized from two residential houses in Male' and a guesthouse in Hulhumale'.

Police also conducted a major operation in GA. Hoadehdhoo in October-November and seized 82kg of drugs.
