The total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the Maldives has risen to 312 after another person has passed away.

This is the fifth Covid-19 related death this month.

'One' has come to know that an 84-year-old man passed away at Tree Top Hospital on Friday night while undergoing treatment.

Earlier this month, a 46-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man from Guraidhoo Marukaz passed away while receiving treatment in Hulhumale' facility.

An 82-year-old woman who passed away at ADK ER on Monday also tested positive to Covid. Additionally, an 87-year old man who passed away also tested positive for Covid.

As such, Covid-related deaths in the Maldives has risen to 312 - with 293 Maldivians and 19 expats dying from Covid.
