Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives (MMWM) has set up a fund to provide aid to the expats affected by the garage fire on Wednesday.
MMWM released a statement on Friday which said the purpose of the fund is to provide relief aid and basic necessities to the expat workers who have been displaced due to the fire incident. The fund will also provide aid to the families of the 10 expats who passed away in the fire.
The fund will be up for 48 hours, MMWM said. As such, those who wish to contribute to the fund can make donations to the cause to the following bank accounts.

Transfer slips can be forwarded to 7384994, MMWM said.
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) stated on Thursday that 35 Maldivians from four households, 7 children, and 28 expats displaced due to the fire have been registered at the Authority. NMDA has provided relief aid worth MVR 95,000 to those affected so far.
