Maldivian has appointed Global Aviation Services as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for the South India region.

Maldivian's parent company, Island Aviation Services (IAS), said that as part of their partnership with Global Aviation Services, the latter will work together with IAS to develop Maldivian's operations in South India.

Global Aviation Services was founded in 1975, and currently has 41 offices in 16 locations across India. The company also represents 14 Indian airlines as a GSA for passengers and cargo.

The company is also the first to receive the International Air Transport Association's GSA certificate.
