Education Minister, Dr. Aishath Ali, has met with parents from Arabiyya School amidst concerns raised over the change in school administration.

Education Ministry had transferred Arabiyya School Principal Mohamed Shujau to National Institute of Education (NIE) and appointed Iskandhar School's Principal Hussain Saeed as Acting Principal at Arabiyya.

Following the change, Arabiyya School parents had protested and raised concerns, stating that Education Ministry made the transfer because Shujau had not been opposed to the parent's 'Save Arabiyya' campaign.

Education Minister met with Arabiyya School parents on Monday evening to listen to their concerns.

The Ministry Tweeted on Monday night that she had met with and heard the concerns from the parents.

"During the Minister listened to the concerns from the parents and also shared information regarding Arabiyya School building," the Ministry said.
