Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced construction of HA. Hoarafushi Juvenile Justice Unit - Halfway House.

MTCC said on Sunday that the project is valued at MVR 5.99 million.

MTCC was contracted the project to be completed within 150 days.

The halfway house in Hoarafushi will serve as a facility to house children who have served a certain period of time in a juvenile correctional facility before being reintegrated into society.
