Russia's Azur Airline has resumed direct flights to the Maldives.

Azur Airlines operates direct flights to the Maldives during tourist season, but stopped due to Covid. However, the Airline resumed flights on Friday.

Azur Airlines will operate 2 Boeing 767 flights between Moscow and Velana International Airport (VIA) every day.

Russia is the second biggest source market for tourism in the Maldives, with a 159,657 tourist arrivals in 2022 so far.
