President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has presented awards to youths who have excelled in various fields, during the National Youth Day ceremony held at Maldives Centre for Social Education (MCSE) on Sunday night.
Youth Awards were presented to:

- Abdulla Shafeeu - Technical Expertise
- Neesha Saleem - Sports
- Firasha Mohamed - Humanitarian Work
- Ibrahim Shareef Hassan - Vocational Training
- Abdulla Shahuneez - Youth Empowerment
- Ali Ameer - Dhivehi Language & Culture
- Afir Mohamed - Counter-Narcotics
- Ali Rasheed - Agriculture
The youth awards are presented by the State to celebrate and encourage youth and their contributions in various fields.
National Youth Day is celebrated on 22 October.
