HDC looks for contractor to build charging station for electric cars

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is looking for a contractor to build charging stations for electric cars.

HDC made the announcement on Thursday that there will be four charging stations built in Hulhumale' and that this is a pilot project.

Interested parties can make application with HDC and will also be required to provide the material for the charging stations.

The charging stations must be compatible with the electric cars in the market, and the white user application should be compatible with the Maldivian payment gateway, HDC said.

Interested parties can submit Express of Interest (EoI) by 1530hrs on 1 November 2022.

HDC will fund half the project while the supplier must fund the remaining, HDC said.
