Ooredoo Maldives has signed on as Medianet's Coverage Title Partner for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The agreement was signed by Ooredoo's CEO and MD, Khalid Al-Hamadi and CCO Hussain Niyaz and Medianet's CEO and MD, Ahmed Shafeeu and CCO Ahmed Nabah at a ceremony held at Solite Restaurant on Sunday.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be broadcasted on Raajje TV and ICE Plus, who also signed agreements with Ooredoo Maldives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ooredoo CEO and MD, Khalid said that football has always held a special place in the hearts of Maldivians.

He added that Ooredoo aims to bring an exciting experience for the viewers.

Medianet CEO Nabah stated that they are proud to facilitate exclusivity to local channels. He added that Medianet is pleased to partner with Ooredoo for the experience and coverage.

FIFA World Cup 2022 is scheduled to kick off on 20 November 2022.
