State Electric Company (STELCO) has signed an agreement to sponsor one year's pay for a teacher at Care Society's Care Development Centre.

The agreement was signed by STELCO's Managing Director Ahmed Shareef and Care Society's Executive Director Ahmed Athif during a ceremony held at STELCO on Tuesday.

STELCO is sponsoring the teacher's pay under the company's CSR initiative.

STELCO also sponsored the Diabetes Society's 'Save a Diabetic Child' project under their CSR initiative last July. STELCO has also taken initiative to maintain the street lights in eight islands in AA. Atoll and nine islands in ADh. Atoll.
