Kulhudhuffushi City Council has opened submission for designs to build a commemorative monument for Shaheedh Hussain Adam.

Kulhudhuffushi City Council made the announcement on Monday. The Council stated that the commemorative monument will be placed in a public area in the island.

As such, the announcement stated that the designs should represent Shaheed Hussain Adam's valour and services to the nation. Additionally, the material for the design should be durable and easily accessible in the market, the announcement said.

Interested parties can submit designs by 25 October. The winning design will receive MVR 5,000, the Council said.
