Search has commenced for a missing expat worker from Hulhumale'.

The missing expat worker - MD Omar Mia, 27, was reported missing on Saturday by his company after he failed to report to work.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) said the whereabouts of the expat worker is not known as of yet.

MPS has appealed for public assistance, asking anyone with information on the missing expat to contact Hulhumale' Phase I Police on 9980062 or 3322111.
