A tourist out snorkelling inAA. Thoddoo has been injured after an accident involving a dinghy.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) said on Friday that they received a report of the incident around 1745hrs about a tourist getting injured near AA Thoddoonwhile snorkelling.

MPS said the injured is a Russian woman.

The woman is currently receiving medical assistance after the incident with the dinghy, MPS said. The woman has been transferred to Male' for medical assistance. However, MPS did not specify the extent of her injuries.
