Planning Ministry has contracted Sierra Construction and Star Construction joint venture to build 200 housing units in GDh. Thinadhoo.

At the ceremony held at Planning Ministry, Director General Ahmed Wishan Naseem signed the contract on behalf the Ministry while M.H.P Prasad Arathna signed the contract on behalf of the joint venture.

Scope of the project include construction of 200 housing units of 700 acres, with each unit consisting of 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a laundry and storage room.

Additionally, the building will also have a park constructed nearby.

The project is valued at MVR 253,990,863.00/- from 2022 PSIP budget - to be completed within 540 days.
