Maldives Customs Service (MAC) has seized drugs worth MVR 12 million from a Pakistani national who flew to Maldives via Dubai.

MSC said on Wednesday that the drugs were seized on 1st October.

The drugs were found in the luggage of the Pakistani man, 48, who also tested positive to heroine.

MSC said the drugs weighed 10kg and are valued at MVR 12 million.

MSC has handed the drugs over to Maldives Police Service.
