18 auctions for land plots in Hulhumalé; highest bid at MVR 8,251 per sqft

Eighteen bids have been submitted for the 22 land plots auctioned by Housing Development Corporation (HDC) for Hulhumalé Phase II beach front.

The auction for the 22 beach front plots was opened from 0900hrs to 1100hrs on Wednesday at Meerumaa Event Hall.

HDC said that they received 18 bids at the auction. The highest bid was at MVR 8,251 per sqft. The bidding started at MVR 6,500 per sqft.

HDC Media OfficerAli Mashar told ‘One’ that a plot selection date will be announced later. He added that auction will be held for the 52 beachside plots tomorrow.
