Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that work on design and build of Dh. Meedhoo Harbour Development Project is well underway with 41% overall progress.

MTCC said the quay wall and ramp construction works are complete.

Scope of work for the project includes dredging and excavation operations, construction of a 373m breakwater, a 35m revetment, a 294m quay wall, a 11m x 11m ramp, installation of 1,470 sqm pavement, and navigational lights and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 34.07 million.
