Saudi Arabia has decided to give Umrah pilgrims a 3-month visa as opposed to the 1-month visa given before.

Saudi Gazette quoted Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, stating that the 3-month Umrah visa applies to all nationalities. Dr. Tawfiq made the announcement during his visit to Uzbekistan.

However, Saudi Arabia has not announced when the new visa will come into effect.

Saudi Arabia has eased Covid-19 restrictions recently. As such, a million pilgrims traveled to Saudi to perform Hajj this year.
