The expat worker who fell off a building in Gaafu Alifu Atoll Kooddoo passed away on Sunday.

An official of MIFCO had previously revealed that the incident occurred Thursday morning and that it involves an Indian worker. The official added that the worker had fallen off from a height of about 20 feet and that it had caused severe head injuries.

The worker was being treated on a ventilator, after having sustained severe head trauma, including bleeding into the brain.

One Online can now confirm that the worker passed away while being treated in the ICU last night.

The 41-year-old worker's body is currently at the Galohu Morgue and will be repatriated back home.
