Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said the quay wall installation for Sh. Lhaimagu Habour Development Project has been completed.

MTCC said the quay wall concrete works are currently ongoing at the site.

Scope of work for the project includes dredging and excavation operations of 31,000cbm, construction of a 350m breakwater, a 276m quay wall, a 500m revetment, installation of 1,380sqm pavement, installation of navigation lights and streetlights.

The project is valued at MVR 56.3 million.
